In 1956, at the age of six, he began his education, and finally in 1968, he received a diploma in natural sciences, after which he dropped out of school. He was the fourth and last child of his family to have three older sisters, Parvaneh, Effat and Forough. At first, Farhad's was chosen his name by his father, but at the request of his grandfather, his name was changed to Fereydoon. His paternal family was one of the great landowners of Naraq.
His father, Fathullah, was a tobacco worker and wrote poetry and strings on his own. Fereydoon was born on Monday, Januin the Salsabil neighborhood of Tehran.
